Miles City, Montana is in the southeastern part of the state of Montana. If you are traveling on Interstate 94, going east or west, you will more than likely pass through Miles City, Montana. There are several great hotels and motels in Miles City, all of which are very affordable and easy to find. If you are traveling to Miles City for the Bucking Horse Sale, finding a hotel or motel can be very difficult since most of them are booked several years in advance. Travelers looking to catch some sleep can always find a room at one of the many affordable hotels and motels Miles City, Montana has to offer.

There are at least ten hotels and motels in the Miles City, Montana area. But my guide will only cover the hotels and motels that I am familiar with. My guide will give you details about the hotels and motels, as well as delicious dining options nearby. My guide will not give you prices for rooms, as this would be impossible and most likely incorrect. I have provided telephone numbers for each of the hotels and motels in my guide so that you can call and check on current room rates and availability.

If you find yourself in Miles City for one of the many agricultural events at the Eastern Montana Fairgrounds, then you will want to stay nearby at the Historic Olive Hotel. The locally owned Historic Olive Hotel (built in 1899) is the only hotel or motel near the fairgrounds and is located downtown at 501 Main Street. Rooms are usually priced under $75 (call for current prices). There is a Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel, plus the Olive Dining Room, and there are several locally owned café's within walking distance as well. Call the Historic Olive Hotel at 406-234-2450 to make a reservation. You'll get the full western experience in our frontier town when you stay at the Historic Olive Hotel.

My favorite hotel motel in Miles City Montana is the pet-friendly Best Western War Bonnet Inn. It is locally owned and conveniently located at exit 138 off interstate 94. The address is 1015 S Haynes Avenue. The Best Western War Bonnet Inn offers its guests a wonderful home cooked breakfast buffet in the morning and a nice hot soup bar during lunch. One of the best restaurants in Miles City is located across the street from the Best Western War Bonnet Inn, and is called the Boardwalk Restaurant. They open every night at 5 PM to folks waiting in line for a table. Guests at the Best Western War Bonnet Inn often receive discounts on food at the Boardwalk Restaurant. Call the friendly folks at the Best Western War Bonnet Inn for room prices and availabilities: 406-234-4560.

The next motel on my list is as affordable as it is well known. The Motel 6 in Miles City is located at 1314 South Haynes Avenue, right off interstate 94, at exit 138. It is a budget motel, so don't expect stellar accommodations. The Motel 6 in Miles City is next to the Town Pump service station and the 4 B's Restaurant. Other dining options nearby are McDonalds, Subway and Gallagher's Family Restaurant & Casino. Across the street from the motel is Holy Rosary Healthcare center. This pet-friendly motel has nice, small rooms with a small price. Call Motel 6 Miles City at 406-232-7040‎ for room rates and availability.

Last on my list is the Red Rock Motel, located at 2700 Valley Drive East. The Red Rock Motel is probably the most affordable motel in Miles City, Montana. It is a small, locally owned motel with only 18 rooms. They are currently in the process of renovations, but they still have their welcome rug out to travelers and guests. This pet friendly motel won't set your pocket book back too far, and is open all year long. Call the folks at the Red Rock Motel, 406-234-5382, for room rates and availabilities.
