City Guide: Bars, Saloons and Pubs in Miles City, Montana

There are a number of sports bars, old western saloons, and beer taverns to be found in the town of Miles City, Montana. Finding Miles City, Montana is pretty easy. Locating a bar that serves beer, liquor and a USDA steak is also very easy to find in Miles City, Montana. My city guide to bars, saloons and taverns in Miles City will begin with the pubs located just off Interstate 94, continuing all the way downtown to Main Street. The Golden Spur Sports Bar is located right off Interstate 94, exit 138, at 1014 S. Haynes Avenue. Call ahead for hours of operation at 406-234-7787. This Miles City bar is also a casino, so you can eat a little something, sip a cold beer and play one of the many slot machines. The Golden Spur Sports Bar in Miles City, Montana is on the east side of the road, straight across from a Best Western motel.

If you want to step it up a notch, visit the bar at the Miles City country club. The Town & Country Club is located at 4th & Eagle, in Miles City. This Miles City bar is also just off the Interstate. While traveling north on Haynes Avenue, take a left on Tompy Street, then another left on Eagle Avenue. Call ahead for hours of operation at 406-234-1600. The Town & Country Club is a great place to gather after a round of golf, you can even get a great meal at the restaurant located on the country club premises.

You must head downtown to Main Street to experience the authentic, western bars in Miles City, Montana. Heading north on Haynes Avenue, take a left onto Main Street and travel through the beautiful neighborhood of old homes, under the old train underpass, finally arriving at the 8th Street intersection of Main. On this block you will find a Miles City bar called the Texas Club at 716 Main Street. You can call them at 406-234-0100. One more block down and you'll see the Montana Bar at 612 Main Street, Miles City. They are between 6th Street and 7th Street. Call the Montana Bar at 406-234-5809.

One of the most diverse bars in Miles City is the Trails Inn Bar & Comedy Club located at 607 Main Street in Miles City. You can play poker, or drop some coins in the Keno machines. They even have live entertainment, good food and cold beer. Call ahead at 406-234-2922, or visit their website to make reservations.

From the Trails Inn Bar on Main Street, travel west to 5th street and take a left. The street will dead end at Pacific Avenue and a really nice family restaurant, bar and casino called Cattle-AC, located at 420 Pacific Avenue in Miles City. This Miles City bar is open daily at 9AM, and their Happy Hour is 5:30PM to 6:30 PM. You can play Keno or poker, enjoy a steak or some seafood. Call ahead for reservations at 406-234-6987.

This last pub in my city guide is more of a casual neighborhood bar than it is a western bar. At the traffic light on Main Street and 10th Street, turn south going past the Library. This Miles City bar is on your right hand side and is called Parker's Super Service, at 13 S. 10th Street. This is a great place to catch a football game, play a game of pool or order a tall bottle of ice cold beer. Parker's Super Service is a very relaxed neighborhood type pub. Call ahead for their hours of operation at 406-232-1395.
