1 cup butter
2 cups flour
1 ¾ cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup Coca Cola
1 ½ cups small marshmallows
Frosting:
½ cup softened butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/3 cup Coca Cola
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup pecans, toasted
Mix first 9 ingredients and beat well. Stir in marshmallows by hand. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool 30 minutes or so before frosting. To prepare frosting, mix together first 4 ingredients and stir in pecans which have been toasted in a 300 degree oven until brown. Spread over cake.
